Client Service Representative (CSR)

Pets have been my constant companions since my crawling days. Growing up with various family pets made me realize at an early age how much they brought joy, fun and compassion into our lives. As I became an adult and continued to share my life with more pets, I knew I had to do everything in my power to return the love and give them a life of quality. After making the decision to leave a corporate job, I got the opportunity of a lifetime to turn my love of pets into a career choice.

Initially, after high school and a little volunteer work, I thought my calling was in social services. I received my Social Service Worker diploma from Centennial College in the early ‘90s. I spent a few years working in a community agency, then went on to work in a government agency, which led me to some administrative work in a financial institution. A few years later, it became very clear I had to rebalance and follow my heart. Luckily, I found an incredible client service position at a wonderful veterinary clinic in Markham. I began to understand that my calling to do social work could be expanded to help pets and pet-parents. The amazing co-workers, clients and pets I met there taught me so much about coordinating various services in pet care. That’s where I also met Dr. Khor.

Life took a sudden turn and I had to stop working for several years to care for and spend time with a loved one. Then, as I started to refocus on what’s next, I got reconnected with Dr. Khor. Now, I’m super ecstatic to join York Mobile Veterinary Services, helping pets and pet-parents receive high quality care in the comforts of their own homes! If this is a dream, please don’t wake me!!
