Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Secret Super Power : 'Pet Whisperer'

about me

I knew I had found my calling when I discovered the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College. I always knew I wanted to help animals when I grew up and figured this would be how I would do it! I graduated from the program in 2016 and started my journey in Veterinary Medicine.

Once I graduated, I pursued one of my passions by doing an internship at a wildlife refuge. When I completed my internship, I got my first job as a Veterinary Technician at a small animal clinic. Since then, I have become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), worked in veterinary research, and have decided my true passion is working with people and their pets.

“I love how much change I am able to make in every pet and pet owner’s lives!”

My favourite part of being an RVT is educating clients and being able to treat their pets at the same time. Making sure clients understand how we can help their pets is extremely important to me. During appointments I also get to cuddle the odd puppy or kitten which is part of any dream job!

Once I am done my day job, I get to go home to my toothless cat Pistachio and my blind dog Vision. I love how much change I am able to make in every pet and pet owner’s lives and I wouldn’t change it for the world!
