Audrey
Client Service Representative (CSR)
Pets have been my constant companions since my crawling days. Growing up with various family pets made me realize at an early age how much they brought joy, fun, and compassion into our lives. As I became an adult and continued to share my life with more pets, I knew I had to do everything in my power to return the love and give them a life of quality. After making the decision to leave a corporate job, I got the opportunity of a lifetime to turn my love of pets into a career choice.
Initially, after high school and a little volunteer work, I thought my calling was in social services. I received my Social Service Worker diploma from Centennial College in the early ‘90s.
I spent a few years working in a community agency, then went on to work in a government agency, which led me to some administrative work in a financial institution. A few years later, it became very clear I had to rebalance and follow my heart. Luckily, I found an incredible client service position at a wonderful veterinary clinic in Markham. I began to understand that my calling to do social work could be expanded to help pets and pet-parents. The amazing co-workers, clients, and pets I met there taught me so much about coordinating various services in pet care. That’s where I also met Dr. Khor.
Life took a sudden turn and I had to stop working for several years to care for and spend time with a loved one. Then, as I started to refocus on what was next, I reconnected with Dr. Khor. Now, I’m super ecstatic to join York Mobile Veterinary Services, helping pets and pet parents receive high-quality care in the comforts of their own homes! If this is a dream, please don’t wake me!

Louise
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
I’m Lou, an RVT and a proud mom to three amazing daughters, three dogs, and two cats.
After graduating from university, my husband and I spent many adventurous years abroad with our girls, living in Europe, Asia, and Africa. During our travels, I discovered my true passion: animal rescue! I volunteered with local animal rescues and veterinarians, and our home was always bustling with foster pets—from litters of puppies and kittens to abused dogs needing a second chance. Some of those fosters became forever family members, and when we returned to Canada in 2011, we brought along two dogs from Southeast Asia and three cats from Africa.
“I love meeting our clients and helping them with their fur babies in the comfort of their homes.”
I initially pursued a practical career in financial planning, but my heart was always with the animals. In 2016, I decided to follow my passion and enrolled in Seneca’s veterinary technician program. After graduating in 2018, I worked in a small animal practice before another international adventure took us to Russia.
When I am not a veterinary technician, you can often find me outside on a hike with my 3 rescue dogs, Callie, Jack, and Bonya. They will usually be close by my side while I am puttering away in my garden. I love spending time with family and friends and cooking for a crowd!
I joined York Mobile Vet in April of 2024 and couldn’t be happier. I love knowing that we can make a difference when owners or their pets aren’t happy or able to go to a regular clinic!

About Me:
I developed my love for animals very early in life. I would often be seen helping at my aunt’s pet store. It was during my high school co-op placement at a veterinary clinic that I found my calling; to use my passion for animals and love of medicine to better the lives of pets and their owners.
After high school, I attended the University of Guelph and was accepted into the Ontario Veterinary College, graduating with my veterinary degree in 2002. At graduation, I was the recipient of the Beloved Friends Award for “demonstrating kindness and care in the treatment of animals in the medicine and surgery clinics.” To me, this wasn’t just an award, but an acknowledgment of my core philosophy that I carry with me today.
“Being able to manage all aspects of a patient’s well-being is critical to a happy life. That means proper pain management, nutrition, and integrative techniques on top of conventional medicine.”
Since graduation, I have continued to enhance my level of care by keeping current with the most recent advances in veterinary medicine. My obsession in patient comfort has led to my certification in pain management. I am a member of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, Ontario Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Information Network, American Animal Hospital Association, Curacore Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians, and International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
My passion for pain management has led to my certification in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture (cVMA). While rooted in traditional acupuncture, medical acupuncture is based on the medical science behind acupuncture’s effect on the neurophysiology of the body. Put simply, acupuncture is used to reduce pain signals transmitted through the body; while encouraging the release of endorphins, the body’s natural analgesic. This integrative care approach not only helps to alleviate pain; it is used to restore balance, enhance the immune system, and improve quality of life.
I practice integrative medicine. Integrative medicine is based on the treatment philosophy that focuses on the entire pet; using the best of conventional and complementary medicine. I integrate scientifically validated therapies of conventional medicine with select practices derived from areas considered to be complementary medicine, such as acupuncture. I feel that the combination of conventional and complementary methods will facilitate the body’s innate healing response to preserve health.
